Ingrowing toenail surgery

Ingrowing toenails can be treated in 45 minutes at our South London clinic!

The YourDr Minor Surgery doctors are fully trained in the surgical treatment of ingrowing toenails.

The treatment involves the introduction of local anaesthetic to the toe. The edges of the toenail are removed and any granulated or chronically inflammed skin is taken away also. In some cases the whole toenail is removed. The chemical phenol is used to reduce the risk of the toenail regrowing. A dressing is put on the toe - this can be removed after 24-48 hours.

Ingrowing toenail surgical treatment costs £250. The appointment cost is £50 but can be offest against the cost of any procedure. Most visits are 'one-stop' with the procedure taking place straight after the initial assessment.
